Berlin  (dpa) – A pilot was killed in a mid-air collision at a German air show on Saturday, police said.

One of the two planes in the collision remained airborne, but the other crashed and burned, killing its pilot, in the accident at Warngau, south of Munich.

Only two weeks earlier, a woman spectator was killed when a pilot lost control of a biplane while it was moving up a runway at an air show near the German city of Nuremberg.
